The new Balmar XT alternator. This 170 Amp dual foot mounted alternator is equipped with dual pulleys and can be used with dual V belts. This is a higher output alternator than can usually be contained in a small enclosure. The innovation that makes this possible is the new braided stator design, which greatly improves efficiency. The new XT series alternator also includes a backup internal regulator for emergency situations. For installation details, please refer to the dimensional drawing. The alternator is slightly shorter than the standard small alternator, but is designed to be used in the same location. These alternators all require a serpentine belt or double V-belt, and for full power output, the MC614-H regulator (not included) is needed because it can provide the more needed to drive them to full power. High excitation current. The alternator is equipped with a DV pulley 17-AT-0020 externally regulated high output small box alternator with 12 volt output, 170 amperes, and 3.15 inches ID Yanmar type installation on both feet. This is not an isolated ground alternator, it requires a double V belt built-in backup regulator data sheet, size, output curve requires a maximum charge regulator, but not included. !!!!—-
