Thanks to the FME termination, you can use the premade Glomex FME coaxial cables (RA350), in different lengths, with a pre-installed professional, high quality and rugged FME connector that can be fitted on the antenna in a few seconds without soldering or cutting the cable;The inside elements and fiberglass rod features. The antennas elements are made of spiral copper wires inserted into brass tubes which ensures long-range communication and the best radio performance. The tube is made of double-thick fiberglass with a smooth polyurethane finish which is resistant to UV-rays and is reinforced by a double-layer of fiberglass (1,2 mm/0.05). Moreover, the RA1225FME is a vertical polarized antenna minimizing the effect of reflection on flat surfaces (like the water), always ensuring the best possible performance.For installation, the RA1225FME requires a mount with a cable slot: RA107SSFME
