Introduction

The EV-150 Power Pilot is a complete autopilot solution for powerboats with hydraulic steering. Ideal for boats with single-engine outboards or single inboard engines, the EV-150 delivers precision autopilot control using the intelligent EV-1 sensor core and the ACU-150 actuator control unit. The system features a Type 1 hydraulic autopilot pump. The pump is compatible with outboard and inboard hydraulic steering cylinder capacities between 80 Cubic Centimeter to 230 Cubic Centimeter. EV-150 Power Pilot systems are available with a p70Rs autopilot control head, ACU-150 actuator control unit, EV-1 heading sensor, and a 12 Volt Type 1 hydraulic pump. Raymarine autopilot owners with an existing Type 1 hydraulic drive can upgrade to Evolution technology with Evolution Power Pilot kit without the type 1 drive included.

The Evolution EV-150 system also employs Raymarine’s patented Hydro-Balance technology which delivers superior autopilot performance for hydraulically steered boats, particularly those with outboard motors and rudder-reference less systems. Hydro-Balance automatically compensates for hydraulic system elasticity, steering system asymmetry, and torque steer to keep your boat on-course at trolling speed, cruising speed, and all-out running.

The Raymarine EV-150 Hydraulic Autopilot System Pack is the ideal autopilot for small to medium sized hydraulically steered vessels with a steering ram capacity between 4.9 cu. in. (80cc) and 14.0 cu in. (230cc). The system is for 12-volt DC electrical systems only.
