A single engine with two battery packs and an electric VSR 80-716-0017-00 is an ideal replacement for the battery selector switch. Simply remove the selector switch and connect the existing wires to the 716 cluster. In this model, the VSR and emergency parallel switch are combined into a voltage sensing switch that can be operated remotely. The 716 cluster is used for charging systems up to 150A. Used for a single outboard system with dual battery packs or a single alternator inboard engine with dual battery packs. The 716 cluster replaces the battery isolator system.
